GUIDED CLASSES.
By joining a group of like minded people at one of the my guided classes you’ll become part of a community of sewists who will develop not only your skills but become part of a wonderful supportive network. Sharing ideas, watching demonstrations and refining your techniques gives your entire sewing experience a boost. GROUP WORKSHOPS
Do you have a creative a crowd of friends that want to boost thier skills or gather for some fabric fun? Maybe you’re tasked with arranging a hen day/weekend. Then a class can be arranged to suit you. A creative workshop can be designed around your group, weather it’s to make the wedding ties or create a memory quilt for the happy couple, there are oodles of options.. Make a retreat of it if you like. Nothing better than spending a day or more sewing without the normal day to day distractions. I’ll bring cake…
STRUCTURED CLASSES
These are structured in a way so that you cover specific techniques, as in my 6 week beginners course which deals with the basic sewing skills of darts and zips or making a particular garment like a Jeans skirt which builds on the initial skills with pockets and a fly zip. These are designed to help you grow your skill set whilst also ending up with a finished garment.
1-1 tutorials
This is a chance for you to define what you want to focus on. Be it techniques that always confuse you or a special project like a wedding dress or outfit. I can guide you through the trickiest of fabrics or help you define the right fit in the comfort of your own home or my studio in the middle of leafy Norfolk. From the basics of creating the perfect dart to drafting your own pattern or making something special, a class can be built around you.
